(Chicago, IL) – Another label approval for Goose Island Beer Co. The brewery will release Bourbon County Brand Coffee Stout in bottles this March.

Check the Goose Island archives and specifically, the Bourbon County Stout Megapost for a bit of background on the BCS brand and the different variations coming this year.

I haven’t yet got a bottle count (22 oz. bombers- 13% ABV) and am not sure in what states this will be distributed if at all.

Brewmaster, Greg Hall, recently described an event to take place in Chicago during the week of the Craft Brewers Conference. It’s possible that this will be limited to CBC attendees (unconfirmed) but he mentions that there will be twelve variations of BCS matched up with twelve different pastries from Chef, Mindy Segal. She just appeared on Martha Stewart last week promoting Three Floyds Moloko Milk Stout as an addition to one of her recipes.

Here are the variations he mentions:

BCS
Pappy Van Winkle – aged 2 years
Coffee Vanilla
Rye Barrel
Dry-Hopped
Blueberry
Brettanomyces
Orange
Black Peppercorn
