(Southampton, NY) – Southampton Brewery/Publick House just released its new spring seasonal, Southampton Biere de Mars.

According to Beer Connoisseur Online, “[Southampton’s] popular seasonal Biere de Mars will be available in March in draft, six-packs and in a special variety 12-pack (three Double White, three Altbier, three Indian Pale Ale and three Biere de Mars).”

Beer reviews on RateBeer indicate that previous batches of this brew have been limited to the tune of 250 bottles or less; this is a significant batch size increase. Not to mention, the beer was sold in champagne-style, 750 mL bottles. That is quite a packaging change, too.

The question now is whether the beer itself is any different though that is quite an identify shift. It will be interesting to see how the reviews hold up.
