(Chicago, IL) – Two Brothers Brewing has launched a new series of beers. The first two of them arrived in stores this past week.
Back in June, Two Brothers ordered its first couple foudres. The brewers liked them so much that they ordered several more. Months later, the first bottled brews in a new series of oak foudre-aged beers, dubbed the J Series, are now available in 6-packs.
Commercial description for Two Brothers Resistance IPA: “Complex aromas of oak, honeyed malt sweetness, and piney citrus hops, leads to a full hoppy middle and a finish that’s crisp, oaky and pleasantly lingering. Why, oh why did we resist the subtle allure of IPA so long? 6.9% ABV. 70 IBUs.”
Commercial description for Two Brothers Long Haul Session Ale: “An incredibly drinkable ale, light in body but full of flavor. Oaky notes blend with the complex balance of malt and hops. This is a beer you can enjoy for the long haul. 4.2% ABV. 27 IBUs.”
