(Woodbridge, CT) – Looks like Dark Lord Day has some company . . .
New England Brewing Co. will be holding a limited release of its own for those in the Northeast who can’t make it to Indiana. They will be releasing the much-anticipated Bourbon Barrel Aged Imperial Stout Trooper on Saturday, April 24th, at 12pm.
That’s the same Saturday as Dark Lord Day for the two of you who didn’t know that already.
According to the brewery’s Matthew Westfall, 700 bottles (500 ml’s) will be available for sale.
Additional info from xerotime at Beer Advocate: Limit of 2 per person at $15/bottle. Cash only. Growler fills of Gandhi-Bot DIPA, Sea Hag and Lager will also be available.
An NEB Co. representative confirmed those details as being accurate. The brewery was notified that they can no longer feature an Imperial Trooper on the label but there has been no word whether that will take effect for this release.
