(Ursel, BELGIUM) – Brouwerij The Musketeers launches its third beer, Troubadour Magma, in the States this week.
The beer will have a soft launch at the Craft Brewers Conference in Chicago with all major markets receiving the beer sometime in late May or early June.
Per the GBN blog, “The new Magma Tripel IPA provides a formidable hop presence and is dry-hopped with American Simcoe hops, but is also tempered by the fruitiness that comes from the yeast during the fermentation process.” 9% ABV.
Troubadour Magma recently celebrated a victory when it took home the Consumer’s Trophy for best beer at the Zythos Beer Festival in Belgium.
The estimated retail price will be $17.99 for four packs in 11.2oz bottles and about $8 for a glass on tap at your local beer bar (shipped in 30L kegs).
The Musketeers is an independent, start-up Belgian brewery that is known for Troubadour Blond and their Obscura Stout. Obscura rates in the 93rd percentile and Blond in the 87th percentile at RateBeer.
