(Lake Mills, WI) – And another beer coming in the distant future from Tyranena Brewing . . .
Tyranena Doubly Down ‘n Even Dirtier will be coming out a bit earlier than yesterday’s announcement, Tyranena Shaggin’ in the Wood. Per Owner/Brewmaster, Rob Larson, the beer is slated for a November release.
The label describes Doubly Down as a “Double Stout brewed with Cocoa nibs and aged in bourbon barrels with cocoa nibs and vanilla beans. Rich and black with a thick cocoa head. Chocolate ‘n vanilla aromas abound. Flavors of roasted malts, bourbon, oak and vanilla complement the cocoa.” Those vanilla beans come from Madagascar.
Fortunately, you don’t even have to wait until November for the next Brewers Gone Wild! Series beer. Tyranena La Femme Amere is a Wisconsin Belgique-style IPA that will be coming out this summer.
I’d assume given the name, that this would pair extremely nice along side the KFC double down sandwich.
