(Bloomington, IN) – Upland Bourbon Barrel Winter Warmer bottles drop later this month.
Says the brewery on its website: “We couldn’t stand the idea of going nine months without our Winter Warmer, so we decided to hold some in reserve. Bourbon Barrel Winter Warmer is aged in three-year-old Buffalo Trace barrels to add hints of oak and bourbon to our Winter Warmer’s already complex taste.”
. . . and according to yesterday’s newsletter, “After aging our 2008 World Beer Cup Silver Award-winning Winter Warmer in bourbon barrels for six month, Bourbon Barrel Warmer will be released in 22oz bottles in late April.”
BEER STATS: ABV: 8.5 IBUs: 46.7 SG: 20.4 SRM: 0
This will be available in 22 oz. bottles and 1/2 kegs.
The Upland seasonal beers page is among the most updated beer pages that I’ve seen for a brewery. They reveal that they are releasing Baddest Elmers Bourbon Barrel Baltic Porter as well as Upcup Winner later this year.
