(Fairfield, CA) – Blue Frog Grog and Grill plans to celebrate its tenth anniversary in style.
The brewpub will release Tenth Anniversary Ale sometime this summer. Brewmaster, Nick Campbell, estimates that it won’t be ready before July 1st because of pending state approval, label printing time, etc. Approximately 150 cases (22 oz bottles) will be produced with most of that going to the northern California market. Some could also make its way to Oregon through Mountain Peoples Distribution.
Beer description: “This red wine barrel-aged Imperial Stout was brewed to celebrate our 10th Anniversary. As we looked back on all the tears we cried, sweat we gave and laughter we’ve shared, we felt this beer was the best way to sum it all up. Aged in French oak barrels, this beer has been creating memories of its own. Layers of chocolate malt, espresso, and caramelized apple drift up from the glass with a slight sourness on your tongue that begs you to have another sip.”
Beer Stats: O.G. – 21.5 Deg. Plato, 81 IBUs, 10.5% ABV
