(Plains, PA) – Breaker Brewing has a new beer coming in 22 oz. bottles this summer.

Per the label: “Caged canaries were kept in the mines to serve as an early indicator of toxic air. Since the canaries’ great sensitivity to deadly fumes caused them to succumb quickly, they served as the first line of defense to alert miners of imminent danger.

Quiet Canary is our version of the Farmhouse Saison style. The aroma is light and fruity with mild hop spiciness with a finish that is clean and dry. Enjoy this seasonal ale on a hot summer day, but remember, like the canary, it won’t be around long.”

The brewery made an appearance on Rock 107 radio (<~ mp3) last week. Also be on the lookout for an American-style India Black Ale called Breaker Black Diamond this summer.
