(Middleton, WI) – Capital Brewery will add Weizen Doppelbock to the Capital Square Series this month.
Per the latest newsletter: “The boys in back will be VERY busy this week doing what they do best – brewing up great beer. By the end of the week they will have brewed about 105 barrels (or 34,720 bottles) of Supper Club, Capital Pilsner, & Capital Dark each, plus over 70 barrels (or over 23,000 bottles) of Wisconsin Amber. I may find it in my heart to buy them a beer on Friday.
I have already typed about the Weizen Doppelbock [8% ABV] that will be bottled and out in late May/early June. But, what I haven’t typed about is that Kirby has decided to brew some Capital Weizen (yes, the old Kloster Weizen recipe) for us to have on tap in the Bier Garten! He expects that we will be able to tap this mid to late May.”
The Weizen Doppelbock reads, “A boosted version of all the personality quirks that make the Bavarian Weizen style unique and beloved.” 8% ABV. Watch for it in four-packs and on draft.
Finally, Brewmaster, Kirby Nelson, appeared in a video on IBMadison.com recently.
