New beer cans coming from three breweries . . . two sooner than the other.

Just released in Montana are Big Sky Scape Goat and Big Sky Summer Honey in cans. They join the brewery’s other two flagships, Big Sky Trout Slayer and Big Sky Moose Drool.

Lancaster Brewing is also about to join the canning movement with Lancaster Summer Kölsch. Per the label submission form, the beer is being canned at The Lion Brewery. Given that the cans are already manufactured/printed and that this is a summer seasonal, I would expect this to be out next month (an “educated guess”).

Finally, Jack Curtin broke the news yesterday that Sly Fox Oktoberfest will be released in cans as well. Curtin notes, with the help of CraftCans.com, that this is the first Oktoberfest beer released in cans by a U.S. brewery. This will surely be out later than the other two.
