Weyerbacher Kilo coming soon

(Easton, PA) – Here is the latest from Weyerbacher Brewing‘s newsletter:

Per Head Brewer, Chris Wilson, “While I was in NC, Dan Hitchcock was busy brewing up one of his own concoctions. He was brewing up the next in the Brewer’s Select Series, Kilo. It is going to be a summer saison made with Chamomile, Grains of Paradise, and Coriander. It has not completely fermented but I think it is going to be awesome. You can count on Kilo being served at Philly Beer Week events throughout the 10-day ‘week.’ We are also hard at work brewing up [Weyerbacher Fifteen] for next month’s release.”

In other news . . . Verboten were released earlier this month. Riserva 2010 is on the slate for a June release according to the brewery’s schedule announced at the beginning of the year (subject to change). Merry Monks was announced as the Bronze Medal Winner in the Belgian-Style Tripel Category at last month’s World Beer Cup. Lastly, brewery fans may consider checking out last month’s Craft Beer Radio podcast on-location at Weyerbacher Brewing.
