Colorado Springs-based microbrewery reveals new name of summer seasonal slated for statewide distribution beginning June 8


06.07.2010 – Bristol Brewing Co., known in Colorado for exceptional microbrews, today announced the official launch of its Yellow Kite Summer Pils. Available in stores and on tap beginning June 8, the Yellow Kite Summer Pils joins Bristol Brewing Co.’s line of microbrews distributed statewide, replacing Winter Warlock during its off season – April thru October.

• The name remained undisclosed for two months, as owner Mike Bristol encouraged enthusiasts to guess the name for a chance win a two-night stay at the St Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder, Colo.
• As part of the Yellow Kite Summer Pils launch festivities, Bristol Brewing Co. is scheduled to host a series of release parties across the state, kicking off on June 3 in tasting room of the brewery located in Colorado Springs, followed by an event at the Rackhouse Pub in Denver on June 6 and the St Julien Hotel & Spa in Boulder on June 7.
• Bright gold in color, the seasonal pilsner has a signature, traditional malt component paired with fine Czech and German hops that adds aroma, flavor and crisp distinction.
