Per the brewery’s website, Wisdom Seeker Double IPA will return next week. La Petite Mort will be released on July 14th as it is an annual Bastille Day special release. Bourbon Barrel Aged La Petite Mort will arrive in December. That one was a silver medal winner at this year’s World Beer Cup in the hotly-contested Wood and Barrel-Aged Strong Beer category (113 entries – the most in WBC history). In case you were wondering, “La Petite Mort” means “the little death” in French and is said to be a metaphor for the orgasm. Between this and Velvet Merkin, those West Coast breweries sure know how to pick ’em.
