(Holland, MI) – New Holland Brewing has received label approval for a new brew.
The brewery will introduce a wet-hopped beer with Michigan-grown hops in 6-packs this fall. As revealed back in March, New Holland Hopivore is scheduled for release in mid-October. Hopefully we get a product sheet late this summer so we see just what hops these guys will be using.
New Holland recently announced on its Facebook page that it will be joining nearly 50 breweries for the Traverse City Microbrew & Music Festival in late August. “We will be pouring Dragon’s Milk Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout, Golden Cap Saison, Full Circle Kolsch, Mad Hatter IPA, Black Tulip Trippel, Pilgrim’s Dole Wheat Wine and Imperial Hatter Imperial IPA.”
And if you’re in Chicago this week, you still have a chance to partake in Hatter Days, a series of New Holland events happening around the city:
“[…] This all builds to a Thursday climax called the “Hatter Hop.” this pub crawl gets started at 5 p.m. at Quenchers (complete with a toast/benediction from Bueltmann), then heads to Whole Foods Kingsbury at 7 p.m.; Fountainhead at 8 p.m.; a firkin tapping at Small Bar Division at 9:30 before Hatter Days has its dénouement at Green Mill, 1 a.m. Friday.
Bueltmann has asked that folks attending any of the Hatter Days events use the Twitter hashtag #hatterdays2010, which will give twitter users updates and passwords for free swag and special giveaways.”
Our hops are in it!
