(Longmont, CO) – Left Hand Brewing got approval this week for the second volume in its Fade to Black collection.
Last year, the brewery opted to launch the brand by making it a Foreign Stout. This year, the brewery is going with a Smoked Baltic Porter. The style is apparently popular in Colorado as of late with Great Divide Brewing also bringing a Smoked Baltic Porter to market it soon. Left Hand’s version isn’t scheduled to hit the market until late October with supplies expected to last into February. The beer will be sold in 6-pks and kegs.
A slew of new labels including the Left Hand – Terrapin Oxymoron collaboration have got approval this year. Oxymoron is the third in the Midnight Project Series. Terrapin’s Spike Buckowski returned from brewing the beer in Longmont two weeks ago. Given lagering time, we probably will not see that one until at least late August (it’s on Left Hand’s schedule to be released in September).
As for other seasonals, Left Hand Warrior IPA is due to be released in late September and supplies of Left Hand Oktoberfest, the current seasonal, will likely dwindle over the course of the next month.
