Playing some catch up here . . .

Arcadia Ales has completely re-branded its lineup (more pics on Facebook posted today). Hopmouth is one label that isn’t on the Facebook page. Expect to see this one on shelves soon (not out there yet to my knowledge but I could be wrong).

Back in May, I wrote about a new brew to debut from Lagunitas . . . a unique take on A Little Sumpin’ Sumpin’. That beer, A Little Sumpin’ Wild Ale, recently passed through the TTB and is slated for release in September. Here’s the side of the label:

Sun King SpecialtyCan

I still get a laugh at the first line of this post from Hoosier Beer Geek. The line references a scoop I landed on Sun King Wee Mac cans just before that. HBG got the details on this unique seasonal can that Sun King got approved before I did. Props. But let it be known, this local blogger vs. national blogger rivalry has just begun!

duclaw-pax-nemesis

Duclaw Pax Nemesis will be re-released next week. Description: “This clear, copper-colored, medium-bodied Imperial Alt Ale balances the scales of fortune with equal measures of malt backbone and hop bitterness, while leveling karmic justice against all who transgress with an Olympian 11% abv. disguised by its crisp, clean drinkability.”
