It’s an all-New England edition.
First up is the third installment of the new Samuel Adams Imperial Series labels: Doublebock. Recall this post from two weeks ago in which I unveiled the other two new Imperial Series labels.
Next up is another Samuel Adams beer, the homebrew championship-winning Rauchbier that will be appearing at New England Patriots home games all year. Check out Brewbound’s recent interview with the beermaker.
Harpoon Brewery will bring back Glacier Harvest Wet Hop Ale again this fall. No surprise there. This year’s label makes note of the hops being grown in New York and the barley being grown in Maine. The beer is ‘scheduled” for release this month per the website. Harpoon plans to release Oak Aged Dunkel as the #34th installment in the 100 Barrel Series this November.
Finally, there’s Berkshire Brewing. The brewery releases its signature autumn seasonal, Oktoberfest Lager, this month. Description: “Aged for months prior to release, this lager is brewed using German hops and yeast, true to tradition. Its orange-amber hue and its elegant and complex malt structure produces a smooth brew. It finishes with hints of spice and a subtle hop flavor.”
