(Tampa, FL) – More label approvals from Cigar City Brewing . . .

[Updated: this is not the collaboration dark saison.]

First up is Cigar City Oatmeal Raisin Cookie Brown Ale in 12 oz. bottles. The beer, which was brewed three weeks ago, is made with raisins, cinnamon and vanilla beans. The beer, which has been a popular draft offering, is the third-ranked brown ale in the world on RateBeer; the brewery actually makes five of the top seven brown ales in the world according to RateBeer ratings.

The other is a beer that uses St. Somewhere Brewing yeast called Sea Bass, described as a Pugilistic dark-bodied Farmhouse-style ale. Label artist, Geiger Powell a.k.a. Gunhaver on RateBeer, said on Welpfolks.net that the beer is “named after Sebastien, the weirdo Belgian guy here and he’s pretty much huge into death metal and some black metal […]” Powell is apparently in line for some more label work for Cigar City so buckle your seat belts.

Sea Bass was brewed a week ago and will be packaged in 750s.
