(Tampa, FL) – A few updates for the Florida folks . . .

Cigar City Brewing announced on Twitter yesterday that it brewed White Oak-Aged Jai Alai IPA. The labels are being printed and the beer should hit shelves in about three weeks according to Cigar City Founder, Joey Redner.

“Initial run will be 15 bbls of 12 oz. bottles packaged in plastic ring bottle holders (ie not the standard cardboard six pack carrier) as we anticipate this being more of a singles buy kind of a beer. We’ll probably sell it in singles at the brewery at first. The first bottled batch will be Tasting Room and then Bay Area distribution only, but it has quickly become my personal favorite so it is something that will be produced steadily.”

In other news, Maduro Brown Ale 12 oz. bottles should be ready by the first week of September per a recent tweet. Guava Grove was just packaged in 750s yesterday as well (and they brewed Black Saison . . . busy day at Cigar City). And as always, the brewery is currently working on a ton of small batch beers.
