(Winston-Salem, NC) – Two weeks ago, Foothills Brewing announced Torch Pilsner and Hoppyum IPA would appear in bottles. Over the past week, two more labels have received approval.
[8/6 Update: Per Foothills, “We will have 720 bottles for sale at Foothills on Friday; we will resume sales on Saturday, August 14 at 11:00 am with all remaining bottles. There will be a limit of 6 bottles of Friday; the limit for Saturday is yet to be determined. Bottles are $15 each.”]
More details on those bottles and the August 13th release of Foothills Baltic Porter can be found here. Sam’s Quik Shop just reported that 600 bottles will be available for sale beginning that day. Owner/Brewmaster, Jamie Bartholomaus, also mentioned that People’s Porter would be hitting bottles as well.

People’s Porter (website) description: “An English-style Robust Porter – Dark Brown in color with a ruby hue – Chocolate and sweet toffee aroma – Firm unsweetened chocolate flavor with moderate notes of caramel and toffee, an herbal hop bitterness up front and a slight note of espresso in the finish. ABV: 5.8%, SRM: 30.7, IBU: 42.”
