MacTarnahan’s Ink Blot makes its debut

INKBLOT

(Portland, OR) – MacTarnahan’s Brewing held a launch party last night for its latest offering, Ink Blot Baltic Porter.

BrewPublic has the scoop:

“Munich, Caramel, Special B, and Carafa malts and Perle hops are used in making this beer, the latest in Mac’s Big Bottle Series. […] Available August through October, the Ink Blot will be made available in the fine states of Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho, Alaska, and Hawaii. Draught pours will be limited to Pyramid Alehouses and only 477 cases of the beer in bottles will see the light of day.” 7.5% ABV and packaged in 22 oz. bombers.

Ink Blot is the final piece to be added to the 22 oz. seasonal rotation, joining Lip Stinger Farmhouse Ale, Spine Tingler Belgian-style Triple and Goose Bump Imperial Stout. Last August, the brewery launched Lip Stinger though that beer is now slotted as a May-July summer seasonal. Preceding it is Goose Bump from Nov-Jan and Spine Tingler from Feb-May.
