(Eugene, OR) – Oakshire Brewing announces its fourth seasonal.

Oakshire Harvest Ale becomes the brewery’s fourth seasonal, rounding out a program that it began last year. Harvest Ale, a self-proclaimed “PNW FestBier,” joins O’Dark:30, Line Dry Rye and Ill Tempered Gnome in the seasonal line-up.

Harvest Ale debuted on draft this past Friday and bottles should appear beginning Tuesday, September 7th, according to Brewmaster, Matt Van Wyk. This will be a short run because Ill Tempered Gnome is scheduled to hit shelves in early October.

Here is the official beer information:

Description: “Harvest Ale is brewed in the German Fest Bier tradition with a PNW twist, fermented with our house ale yeast at cooler temperatures (60 deg F). Our Harvest ale is rust colored and begins with a spicy and bready aroma. The hearty, medium bodied malt character balances with the mild bitterness and the German noble hop flavor and aroma (German Hallertau). Hearty, yet crisp on the finish, this beer is certain to sustain as the days get shorter and summer wanes to Fall. Prost!”
