(Boston, MA) – Boston Beer Co.‘s Samuel Adam Imperial Series will get a new look down the road.
Not much to add at the moment other than only Imperial White and Imperial Stout have received label approval so far . . . (nothing on the Double Bock yet).
I like these a lot, but man the BBC sure does change it’s graphics like Magic Hat axes beers. Much more traditional and “old” looking than the current, slicker mess of a look they have now for both the Imperial and Regular beers.
Would like to see them take this look to the regular beers and maybe put a pencil-y sketch of Sam where the graphics are now and keep the SA name stamp as is seen here.
The current format is just a visual mess. Having blue be the main consistent color for every brand now with different colors w/in the crest just doesn’t work. Sure it may help the lineup stand out overall on the shelf which is assumingly the goal, but individually most look like crap.
I hope they return the Double Bock to the way it was originally brewed. The heck with the new label – give us back our Double Bock!

When will the Imperial White, Imperial Stout, and Double Bock be back on the shelves? These are pretty much the only beers I buy! Thanks!
