(Atlanta, GA) – SweetWater Brewing will come out with a new brew early this fall.

Meet SweetWater Crank Tank Rye’d Ale. “We cranked up a fermentation tank for this Knobby Rye’s Ale geared up with 25% Rye Malt and Dry Hopped to the spokes with Mt. Hood and Centennial Hops.”

Per Marketing Director, Steve Farace, “We will have approx 600 cases of 22oz bottles for sale and it should be hitting the streets (only in the Atlanta area this first year) in early September. This is a new brew and new recipe as well – it is a Rye Ale – hence the bicycle play with Rye’d.”

Better yet, this beer is for a good cause. The label describes how the partnership between SweetWater Brewing and Camp Twin Lakes came together:

“After being fortunate enough to personally visit Camp Twin Lakes, I felt I had a strong responsibility to spread the word about the amazing work which is being done at this camp. Camp Twin Lakes represents a rare oasis for thousands of kids with illnesses and disabilities, and their families.

The camp allows kids to step inside a safe place where they are surrounded by other kids with the same challenges. They are allowed to have a truly unique camp experience, all the while being educated with their peers in a fun environment. The Camp Twin Lakes experience allows them to enjoy life and know that they are not alone in their struggles.

My visit to CTL made a profound impression on my personal life, and I am absolutely sure you will have a similar experience. I challenge you to get involved in this amazing quest in making so many lives, the lives of thousands of children, that much better by hopping on your bike and joining me as I ride with Team SweetWater!” – SweetWater Brewing President Freddy Bensch
