(Belchertown, MA) – A new De La Senne–Cantillon blend is now available in the States.
That’s right, it’s now on shelves. According to Ratebeer, De La Senne Wadesda #1 is a blend of De La Senne Jambe-de-Bois, a Belgian Tripel, “with an addition of Cantillon Lambic, oak aged, and bottle-refermented.”
I haven’t seen a description of this beer yet though here is the one for the base beer, Jambe-de-Bois (translated): “Light copper blonde, the Wooden-Leg is a powerful full-bodied beer. The nose evokes ripe banana and a subtle blend of old varieties of aromatic hops. On the palate, malt dominates, supported by a long and fine bitterness. It is 8% alcohol.”
The label makes note that this is the first to come in a series. The beer is 8.5% ABV and imported by The Shelton Brothers.
