Pelican Full House Imperial American Brown Ale bottles coming in the future

(Pacific City, OR) – Pelican Brewery received label approval for Full House Imperial American Brown Ale bottles.

According to the New School blog earlier this month, “[…] Pelican also plans to start bottling two Imperial-style ales in the near future. The Double IPA will be bottled in limited runs 2-3 times a year, while an Imperial Brown Ale called Full House will return. This beer was made only once a few years back in celebration of the brewery’s big GABF win. Those two are just waiting for label approval before being brewed.” Well, Full House now has approval.

Label copy: “While celebrating our win of three Gold medals, two Silver medals and Large Brewpub of the Year at the 2006 Great American Beer Festival, one of our fans said, “Three golds and two silvers, that’s a full house!” This huge win inspired our brewers to come up with a celebration beer, and the Full House was born! Full House has a dark red-brown color, a solid foundation of caramel and cocoa-like chocolate malt, and a pronounced floral Northwest hop character. Full-bodied and full of flavor, Full House finishes clean, balanced, warming and satisfying.”
