New label approvals from Magic Hat, Half Acre, De la Senne and Just Beer…
Per NA Breweries/Magic Hat Spokesman, Steve Hill, “Looks like Demo IPA will ship around February 1st. In the Northeast (Maine to Maryland), Demo will be found in 6-packs by itself. Outside the Northeast, it will only available in our variety paks.”
Here is the latest on Half Acre Thunder and Son Brown Ale. Per the brewery blog, “We just finished the first of four mashes for this 30bbl brew. For those not steeped in geekery, that means this beer is going to be a real chunker, 12+% abv. We’ll need some time to wrangle this beer into bomber bottles and kegs, but it should land right about the time the frost does.”
De la Senne Equinox got approval for distribution to the States. Description: “Winter beer, powerful and complex, the Equinox is distinguished by its rich, malty character and slightly chocolaty notes. 8% ABV.” The beer got approval for both 330ml and 750ml bottles and The Shelton Brothers is the importer.
Finally, Just Beer BOO, a Halloween-themed beer, received label approval a while back. With Halloween right around the corner, one would think that this should be coming soon though no official word has been released yet.
