(Brooklyn, NY) – Brooklyn Brewery released some news this week.
First up is the next beer in the Brewmaster’s Reserve Series. From an email, “They said the Belgian yeast was too spicy. Too…unpredictable. But he didn’t care. Didn’t care that black ales with German, British and American malts didn’t normally go out with Belgians. The Brewmaster threw caution to the wind and went ahead and joined them anyway. The result is Brooklyn Cuvée Noire.” There is a soft launch party late this month and the beer will hit taps shortly thereafter.
Also of note, according to the brewery’s blog, “Help us launch a brand new batch of Brooklyn’s classic Imperial Stout at The Chocolate Room on Monday. Also in attendance will be some vintage Black Chocolate Stout (experience firsthand the elegance with which this beer ages!), and none other than the man behind the goodness himself, Brewmaster Garrett Oliver.
