(Winston-Salem, NC) – Last year’s three-way collaboration makes its return.

The 2010 edition of Olde Rabbit’s Foot will go on sale next Saturday at 10am at Foothills Brewing. This is a collaborative effort between Foothills, Old Hickory Brewery and The Duck-Rabbit Brewery that began last year (the year when the beer was first released).

Per Duck-Rabbit’s Paul Philippon, “Bottle limit the same as last year (4). There will be more bottles than last year (but we don’t have the exact number yet).” The Foothills Brewing Twitter account says that there are projected to be 1,000 bottles and that the beer will probably go for $20 each.

The description for last year’s beer (and likely this year’s version) is a Bourbon-Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout brewed with honey and cocoa nibs and aged in 23-year old bourbon barrels.

Side note: from Olde Hickory’s Facebook page last Friday, “Kegged the second batch of Death by Hops today – should be heading out and about the region early next week. And Christmas Ale is just about ready – we expect it to be on tap at the Olde Hickory Tap Room and Amos Howards Brew Pub Nov. 1st.”
