(Escondido, CA) – Stone Brewing‘s Lukcy Basartd Ale has been approved for the public.
[11/16 Update: The brewery has announced that the official bottle release for this beer is November 22nd. It’s currently on tap in a few select spots. Official website link.]
For more info on the beer, click back to my post from earlier this week. That or you can try to decipher the back of the label below. Two things to note…the brewery is re-submitting the label with a correct ABV of 8.5% and the web address listed on the label is not the working link anymore. The new link is not yet now live.
Again, this should hit shelves in bombers (and taps) next month.

I like it… and it sounds like it will be good… but all the purposely misspelled words is kind of stupid if you ask me.
The words are not really misspelled, just jumbled. It is a curious capability of the mind that if you keep the first letter and the last letter in place but mix up the middle letters of words, you can read them almost as quickly as normal. Pretty interesting, I read about this a while ago and think its kind of cool Stone is using this effect.
If you change the url to http://arrogantbastard.com/13/ it pulls up a placeholder website. But no info…
The URL http://www.arrogantbastard.com/13 now redirects to http://www.arrogantbastard.com/lukcybasartd/ and has info.
Thanks, Hawk!
