An international collaboration, another Black IPA, a Smoked Porter and a Yuletide favorite…
It’s official. Black Tokyo* Horizon, the collaboration between BrewDog, Nogne O and Mikkeller is expected to be shipped (or even released) to the U.S. come March of next year. Check out the brewday pics on the BrewDog blog here. The 16% ABV beer will be packaged in 22.5 oz. bottles which seems peculiar unless the label is a typo. *I believe the U.S. label will actually say Tokio because of TTB issues.
Heavy Seas Beer announced the release of a new seasonal today. Heavy Seas Black Cannon Black IPA will be launched in January and available through March.
Epic Brewing of Utah announced that it is coming out with Smoked Porter soon. A newsletter from earlier this month said that the beer is currently in the tanks. It will join the Exponential Series in 22 oz. bottles soon.
Finally, Marin Brewing announced the release of Hoppy Holidaze in 22s in its newsletter yesterday.
Per its website, the beer is brewed with “Pale, Wheat, Caramalt and Munich malts and hopped with Sterling and Styrian Goldings hop varieties. Spices include Nutmeg, Mace, Cinnamon, Vanilla and Orange Peel.”
