New labels from Odell Brewing, Widmer Brothers, De Cam and Just Beer…
First up is Odell Avant Peche. Rather than re-hash anything here, check out my post with from late October with all the details.
Next is a Widmer Brothers summer seasonal called Citra Blonde Summer Brew. The brewery is working on a lot of new stuff for 2011.
Not really a “new” label but a recent arrival in the U.S. per The Wine and Cheese Place blog. Label description: “Aged in vats more than 100 years old, De Cam OUDE LAMBIEK is a blend of 3-year old lambics specially selected by brewer/blender Karel Goddeau for their character and roundness. Still, without a head, OUDE LAMBIEK should be chilled and enjoyed like a fine white wine but prized for the wonderful, rare, spontaneously fermented Belgian Ale that it is.”
Finally, per a recent newsletter, Just Beer Hot Cocoa Ale is now available from the Massachusetts-based brewer.
any idea on who imports the de cam?? label says nothing on it.
Vanberg and Dewulf out of Cooperstown.
