(Fort Bragg, CA) – North Coast Brewing Co. releases this year’s edition later this winter.
According to a brewery rep, North Coast Old Stock Ale 2009 Cellar Reserve Bourbon Barrel has been aging in the barrels for over 18 months. Shipments of 500ml bottles to distributors will begin in early December.
Label Copy: “Old Stock Cellar Reserve is a small batch, limited release that has been aged in oak bourbon barrels. The aging process gives this world-class an added layer of complexity. A memorable drink that should be enjoyed as a completely unique offering.” 13.2% ABV.
This series is sporting a grade of “Outstanding” over at Beer Advocate.
Unfortunately, the brewery has distributors in literally every state with the beer still available for order as of last night so I can’t offer where these will land at the moment.
