(Boulder, CO) – The Boulder Camera, on Friday, detailed Upslope Brewing‘s success and rapid expansion.

The piece also discussed the brewery’s newest offering available in stores as of this past week:

The new canning line is already being put through its paces. Earlier this week, Upslope officially added a third canned craft beer to its lineup — Upslope Brown Ale. It’s an English-style Brown Ale with an American twist in that its sweet roasted-malt base is offset by a pronounced hop bitterness and higher alcohol content — about 6.7 percent by volume — than its counterparts brewed across the pond. It has a well-balanced character with a clean, dry finish that makes it easy to kick back several in one sitting.

Upslope debuted its Brown Ale as a specialty brew last winter on draft at Eldora Mountain Resort. Illegal Pete’s on Pearl Street was one of the first Boulder locations to offer Brown Ale, and the restaurant currently goes through about three kegs a month. It’s a strong addition to the brewery’s canned-beer lineup.

The Brown Ale joins Upslope Pale Ale and Upslope IPA as the brewery’s other two canned beers.
