(Portland, OR) – Bridgeport Brewing has a new arrival coming in January.
Bridgeport will introduce two new beers in 6-packs next month according to a brewery rep. The beers will debut at a private media gathering later this month.
One of them, Bridgeport Kingpin, recently received label approval while the other remains a mystery for the time being. Kingpin is billed as a “triple-hopped” Double Red Ale that hits 7.5% ABV. Given the flack that Miller Brewing has taken for its ads mentioning that Miller Lite is triple-hopped, one would think that the brewery would avoid this as part of its marketing message for a new beer. Let’s just hope that Bridgeport doesn’t follow Miller’s lead in adding Vortex spirals to its bottle neck design.
Stay tuned for info on the other mystery beer.

Just discovered this at my local grocery and I have to say that it’s very yummy. I think it would be in your best interest to pick up a sixer.
