Jolly Pumpkin up ~150% from 2009, brews 700th batch

(Dexter, MI) – 2010 has been a big year for Jolly Pumpkin.


Says NUBC Sales VP, Mike Turriff, “Batch 700 is pretty momentous since it is our 7th year and 700th batch. Also, the planets have aligned so to speak since our first beer ever brewed was Oro de Calabaza. As you know, we have been pretty busy and that is shown by the fact that we brewed batch 500 on Jan 4th this year and have done 200 batches this year so far. As a result, we are on pace to grow about 150% vs. last year.”

Jolly Pumpkin produced 1,485 barrels in 2009 according to the Brewers Association.

The upcoming Collababeire was just announced this week and the brewery’s latest release is Noel de Calabaza. Check out the video on that one below.
