(Papillion, NE) – Nebraska Brewing will soon introduce Apricot au Poivre Saison to its Reserve Series.

The beer is currently available on tap. Here’s what is happening with bottles per Nebraska Brewing’s website:

Apricot au Poivre Saison – Releases for the first time in January of 2011.

This first-ever release will be a brewpub only release given the small number of cases produced. The next, larger batch has been brewed and will head to oak within a few weeks.

An artful interpretation of a Belgian-style Saison created with Apricot Puree and Black Pepper. Aged for 6 months in third-use French Oak Chardonnay barrels.

Delicate flavors and aromas of oak, apricot, chardonnay, and pepper intertwined in the barrel to achieve a flavor profile that is simultaneously complex and delightful.

This release will consist of approximately 45 cases only. 6.8% ABV. $19.99. 750 mL bottle.
