(Woodbridge, CT) – New England Brewing has just released another batch of Imperial Stout Trooper.

There are field reports on Beer Advocate of users coming away with bottles and growler fills over the weekend. Imperial Stout Trooper should hit retail soon in Connecticut and Massachusetts (unsure about others).

This is the brewery’s most anticipated release of the year and is its highest rated offering on RateBeer, sporting a 99th percentile rating.

Why no label above? The old label featured an imperial storm trooper on it, a character that is intellectual property of LucasFilms as part of Star Wars. The company contacted the brewery a while back to ask that they change the label. An email is out to the brewery for the new version.
