There were too many notes for one article so I split them into two. Here’s the second edition for today.

…MetroWest Daily’s Norman Miller offers a few tips on what will arrive in 2011: “[The Bruery] also plans on releasing Sour in the Rye, a barrel-aged sour rye ale; Melange #1, a blend of their Oude Tart and Black Tuesday; as well as the next beer in the “12 Days of Christmas” series, the Four Calling Birds.” It looks as though Sour in the Rye was just released (eBay listings just went up). Miller also reports that Rogue Ales will add Floor Matt Ale to the Chatoe Rogue Series.

…Headed to Three Floyds Brewing‘s Dark Lord Day this year? Looks like you may be able to try Brandy Barrel-Aged Vanilla Bean Dark Lord.

…In a recent newsletter, Berkshire Brewing reported having sold over 18,000 barrels in 2010, up from 16,486 in 2009 (The New Brewer). That’s a 9.2% increase which seems to be on par with the industry average.

…Chad Yakobson of the Brettanomyces Project and Stan Hieronymus of Appellation Beer question the recently-revised Brewers Association style guidelines.

Yazoo Brewing is installing two new 80 bbl fermenters that will raise brewing capacity by 25%.

…Finally, MillerCoors is planning on releasing MGD 64 Lemonade in May, says the Wall Street Journal.
