Left Hand TNT coming in February as brewery production grows 34.5%

(Longmont, CO) – Left Hand Brewing will debut a new release next month.

Left Hand gave a preview of an upcoming seasonal on its Facebook page in recent weeks. According to VP of Operations, Chris Lennert, Left Hand TNT Weizen Doppelbock will debut in February as a bi-annual seasonal in 22 oz. bottles and kegs. The beer uses Lapsang souchong tea, most well-known for its smoky character.

With the introduction of TNT and Left Hand The Stranger (later this month), Jackman’s Pale Ale and Haystack Wheat are going away.

In other brewery news, the Longmont Times-Call recently reported that the Colorado-based brewery grew 34.5% in 2010 up to just shy of 25,000 barrels.

Left Hand closed out 2010 with completion of a project co-founder Eric Wallace had been working on for more than a year: the installation of three new 480-barrel tanks, part of the largest expansion in the company’s 16-year history. […] Revenues rose to about $6.13 million in 2010, a 31.5 percent increase over $4.66 million in 2009, Wallace said.
