Beer labels: Oberon mini-keg, New Belgium, Mikkeller, Roscoe’s

Bell's Oberon

New labels…

Bell’s Brewery got approval for the 2011 edition of the Oberon mini-keg. The beer is due to be released in late March or early April.

New Belgium got approval for an Imperial IPA. I’m coming up blank trying to think of an IIPA in their portfolio other than the one of the Trip beers that they brewed with Elysian. This could be their first. The filename is “Fresh Hop” and fresh hop beers are normally not released until early fall. This one looks like a “wait and see” approval. [2/19 Update: Failed to notice that this was brewed in Washington…looks like it is the same beer as The Trip version]

Mikkeller got another Single Hop approval for Mt. Hood.

Roscoe’s Summer Wheat got approval as well.

  2. “New Belgium Brewing CO Imperial IPA, Brewed in Seatle, Washington.” Something seems odd about that statement… Did Fort Collins get hit in a tornado and pushed NW? I don’t even know of contract brewers in Seatle.
