(Pacific, WA) – New stuff coming to Washington…
Mango Weizen is the only carryover of the three from when Trade Route was known as Laughing Buddha Brewing. Though the label is new for that one, the other two are new beers altogether with Hoppy Bitch even one of the contestants in this month’s Brewing News IPA tournament. Each beer is sold in 22 oz. bottles (may not yet be available) and on draft. Here are the website descriptions for HB and The Joker:
Hoppy Bitch IPA: This northwest IPA is bold and balanced, with a rich malty flavor and a strong hop presence. We use premium 2-Row, Crystal, Munich and Victory malts to create the perfect base for showcasing Yakima-grown Columbus hops. After one sip you’ll agree, this is one hoppy bitch of a beer. 6.3% ABV. 80 IBU.
Joker Ale: This bold amber is hoppy and unfiltered in the classic Pacific Northwest Style. We combine premium 2-Row and Crystal malts to form a pleasant malty base, then add enough Cascade and Centennial hops to create a balanced beer with a citrusy hop finish. This beer is easy to enjoy by itself and pairs well with most foods. 6% ABV. 40 IBU.
NW Brews Tourist recently wrote up a blurb for locals in the area in case they want to check out the brewery.
