(Meadville, PA) – Voodoo Big Black Voodoo Daddy has already arrived at some distributors.

The brewery’s Matt Allyn says on Facebook, “We are slowly releasing BBVDaddy for the next month or so.” Bella Vista Distributors reported that Allyn dropped some off to their warehouse last week. BBVD, a former member of Beer Advocate’s top 100 list, remains one of Pennsylvania’s more anticipated beer releases of the year.

Per the website, “This is our Imperial Stout that we age in conditioning tanks with oak staves. This adds a classic character of old world aging without the Bourbon tones. This black ale is about 12% alc. and very rich in roasted and chocolate malt tones. Velvety smooth and able to be aged for years.”

Apparently this beer is a bit behind schedule so what that holds for this month’s scheduled Voodoo Black Magick release is unknown.

  1. I love their music. Will it be available in Illinois? (St. Louis, or Paducah, KY are acceptable too.)
