Moylan's Bjor Nagal

New labels from out West…

Moylan’s Bjor Nagal: Label copy…”Bjor Nagal is Gaelic for ‘California Common.’ This lager is a reflection of the many dedicated hearts and minds needed to brew a quality beverage. Moylan’s Bjor Nagal is made with Pilsner, Munich and caramelized malts selected and roasted by Sabine and Thomas Kraus-Weyermann, owners of Weyermann Specialty Malt in Bamberg, Germany. Bittering hops (Spalter and Hallertauer Mittlefruh) were grown in the Hallertauer region of Germany and sourced by hops from England. Aromatic hops (Northern Brewer) were also grown in Germany and were sourced by the German Hop Growers Cooperative. We would like to thank Crosby and Baker, Ltd. and the [GHGC] for providing the quality malts and hops for this commemorative lager.”

It looks like this will be available during the week of the Craft Brewers Conference [Crosby and Baker Ltd Hospitality Suite at Golden Gate 4-5 Friday March 25, 3:30pm – 6:30pm.]

Colorado Native: Canning Colorado craft breweries have a bit of competition down the road

Lompoc Kick Axe: Interesting, the label is based on the Portland Timbers MLS soccer team and Widmer Brothers Brewing paid for sponsorship rights as the exclusive craft beer partner of the team. Hopefully this one has been cleared with all parties.

Fremont Universale Pale: Coming soon to 22’s

Soos Creek Inaugural Ale: The label is pretty non-descript but this appears to be a side project of Washington-based Soos Creek Wine Cellars.
