More new labels…
Smuttynose Homunculus: a hoppy Belgian-style golden ale previously known as “The Gnome” is scheduled to be released as part of the Big Beer Series in May.
Stone IPA: Not a new beer but a special back label for those in Missouri who have been waiting a long time for Stone beer to arrive on their shelves.
Thornbridge Hall Bracia: Looks to be the first time that bottles of this one will be imported (from the UK). Very positive reviews on RateBeer thus far.
Beaver 724 Imperial Pale Ale: Apparently, this PA-based brewery is only planning to release 724 bottles of this beer. There is also a contest on the label that says that the first person to guess all 7 hops in the beer will win a free case. Just email dan AT beaverbrewingcompany DOT COM. You would be guessing blind but you would have a head start if you’re reading this.
Finally, Twisted X Brewing, a.k.a. Tex Mex Beer, got its first keg collar approvals, one for Twisted X Lager and one for Cerveza de los Muertos. The website for this new Austin brewery reveals that they plan on staying lager-focused but have some more recipes up their sleeves.
man, the marketing possibilities with ‘The Gnome’ brand were so much greater. im sure there was some copyright being threatened somewhere with that name though. The ‘Smutty Sperm’ label is just not that appealing. Also the faces look like they are on spoons, and thats just silly… 2cents.
@Pete: Gnomegang is coming next month.
Just an awful label.
