…As it did with the 30th Anniversary Series, Sierra Nevada Brewing has launched a slick new website for its Oliva Abbey Ales. The first beer in the set was shipped this past Monday.
…Binny’s is reporting that both Boulevard Brewing and Central Waters Brewing will be distributing to the Chicago area soon (not sure about the rest of Illinois). Central Waters beers could arrive later this month and Boulevard could arrive as early as mid-April according to Binny’s.
…Also on the Chicago front, Metro Brewing has released Iron Works Alt.
…Well, that didn’t take long. Oregon has already passed legislation making homebrewing competitions legal again in the state.
…Boston Beer Co. confirmed in its latest newsletter that the brewery is releasing Rustic Saison on draft this month (for a limited time) and that it will be available as part of the Summer Styles variety pack beginning next month. No word on the Latitude 48 mixed pack yet…
…New Brew Thursday recently interviewed Matt Bonney of Brouwer’s Cafe and Bottleworks. They talk Hard Liver, Hair of the Dog and the Imagination Series. They’re booked through 2016 with brewery partners for these collaboration beers. 2013 will be with Stone Brewing and Cascade Brewery will be in 2014. Other upcoming partners include Hopworks Urban Brewery and Tomme Arthur of Port Brewing/The Lost Abbey.
…Sweetwater Brewery is expanding its facility which will increase capacity up to 4x according to the news report below.
…Hoppin’ Frog Brewery reports that Hop Dam Triple IPA was just released (and that DORIS the Destroyer) is still available for sale.

Boulevard is already distributed in Central Illinois. At least in Champaign.
