Beer labels: Hoppin’ Frog, New Holland, Shipyard, Boulder and more

Hoppin-Frog-Boris-Royale

New batch o’ labels…

New Holland Rye Hatter Rye P.A. – Another variation on the brewery’s Mad Hatter IPA. I’m just noticing that the brewery has updated its website. This beer, along with Black Hatter and Oak-Aged Hatter, is expected to ship in May (22’s, half barrel kegs, 1/6 barrel kegs (a.k.a. pig?)). Farmhouse Hatter is not yet listed on the site.

Hoppin’ Frog Barrel Aged BORIS Royale – Now for some BORIS aged in Whiskey Barrels. [Update: aged in Canadian Crown Royal barrels and a brewery-only release initially. Atlanta Beer Master says to expect it in six weeks.] No release date available though Turbo Shandy is coming May 6th per Facebook.

Boulder Hoopla Pale Ale – Here is a collaboration beer with String Cheese Incident Keyboardist, Kyle Hollingsworth (@kyleonkeys), that will be available nationally in 22-ounce bomber bottles and on draft beginning in May 2011.

Shipyard Smashed Blueberry Ale – Just mentioned this new addition to Pugsley’s Signature Series on the blog last week…it will drop in May.

La Luna Rossa – Pretty amazing that this beer from Birrificio Del Ducato can get a 94 score on RateBeer and only be in the 50th percentile. I guess that means that this is a great beer from the few reviews out there but is in the middle of the pack in terms of sour ales. Importer is B. United International.

Les 3 Fourquets Lupulus – Another well-rated beer on RateBeer, this one is a Belgian Strong Ale. Importer is Brandamental Imports based in San Antonio.

Other approvals:

New Boswell Maelstrom Imperial Stout (1/4 barrel keg)
New Boswell Landslide Wheat Double IPA (1/4 barrel keg)
Pennsylvania Penndemonium Brewer’s Choice Maibock Beer (22 oz. – just an updated label)
Figure Eight Solar Collective American Pale Wheat Ale (22 oz.)
Ancient Lakes Silk Pale Ale (22 oz.)
Ancient Lakes Steamboat Stout (22 oz.)
