Over a half-dozen labels featured…
Ipswich 20th Anniversary Imperial Pale Ale: According to Yankee Brew News, this is an “8% ABV beer brewed with Canadian pilsner, English Maris Otter and English Carastan malts. It was hopped with Columbus, Amarillo, Cascade and Willamette hops. It’s available [already] in 22 oz. bottles and on draft.” Also of note, the brewery said in its latest newsletter that it has put together a new summer mixed 12 pack, “Beach Basket Mix,” featuring Ipswich Original Ale, Ipswich IPA and Ipswich Summer Ale.
Ithaca Dark Humor all-Brettanomyces Porter: Ithaca beat Goose Island to the punch with this Brett Porter, one that I’ve covered here previously. It is set for a late spring/early summer release. I’ve attached a video below as well.
Sixpoint The Crisp Lager: The fourth and final label for Sixpoint cans.
Highwater Retribution Imperial IPA: Another label from Steve Altimari’s new brewery
Crown Valley Gunslinger Double IPA: If I had to guess, it looks like they might be switching the name of Double Barrel to Gunslinger due to the former being a registered trademark. That or they have two DIPAs but the first scenario seems far more likely.
Squatters Big Cottonwood American Amber Ale: It started as a Small Batch Series release but appears to be headed toward becoming a regular bottled offering.
Four Friends Defcon I: Per Facebook, “Countdown to DEFCON1….tapping the cask Friday at 5pm. Only $4/glass….Brixx in Dilworth”
