Latest batch o’ new labels
New Holland Black Hatter and New Holland Farmhouse Hatter: Both approved for 22 oz. bottles. With the popularity of IPAs soaring, a lot of breweries are expanding their IPA lines with riffs off of the style. Making IPAs “black” or “Belgian-style” are two popular ways of doing that as we have seen.
Sierra Nevada Exportation in Red Wine Barrels: Here is another from Sierra Nevada that will be on tap during Philly Beer Week. According to Teresa’s Cafe’s website, “If you liked ExPorter, imagine it aged in Dumol Pinot Noir Barrels at Russian River for nearly a year…” It will be on tap there on the night of Thursday, June 9th.
Widmer Brothers Nelson O’Ryely: Looks like WB decided on a final name for its second IPA in the Rotator Series. This one has been on tap before. Perhaps it was inspired by the similarly named Baba O’Riley song by The Who?
Terrapin Twilight Road Warrior Kolsch: Here are some details on this draft-only release.
Venice Beach June Gloom Belgian Wheat Beer: A new brewery that will open for business in May per its website. They don’t appear to be on Facebook or Twitter yet (or they’re not linking to them).
Lumberyard Red Rock Raspberry Ale: Approved for 22 oz. bottles
Fox River Winnebago Wheat: Yet another approval from this Wisconsin brewery
Penobscot Humble B Lager: Brewed with honey and ginger, 22 oz. bottles
Had the Twilight at World of Beer Viera! Very awesome!
